West heat dome: When could California finally see relief?

A stubborn heat dome is keeping California locked in the upper 90s and triple digits, but a long-awaited cooldown is finally on the way for the West this weekend. Highs are forecast to drop 10-15 degrees across much of the region, bringing the 70s and low 80s back to SoCal. Meteorologist Caitlin Kaiser times it out here.
