How I Got To The Weather Company

I'm a director, producer, and editor, and I've been making films since elementary school. I graduated from SCAD Atlanta with a major in film and a minor in graphic design, then edited remotely for a startup before deciding it was time to find something new here in Georgia. The Weather Company stood out because it wasn't just somewhere I could keep creating — it was somewhere my work could do some good. This is the company that made me environmentally aware growing up, so knowing my own work might do that for someone else was hard to pass up.

Preferred Weather Areas

I love wherever it's sunny. Being from the east coast, I love a bit of snow… but winter weather in general is depressing. I'm always eager for spring and summer to return.

Favorite Core Weather Memory

On the first day of my senior capstone shoot, the edge of a hurricane was brushing over Atlanta, bringing intense winds and a torrential downpour. If we postponed the shoot, it would've costed us thousands. My crew and I headed to the location and, despite the chaos, determined it was still safe to shoot interior scenes. My producers and I ran out to buy the crew rain boots and ponchos. My dedicated team pushed through to get the film done — while keeping everyone safe. One of the craziest days of my career.
