Science could make Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas' ‘song of the summer’

Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" has reached a 21st week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. That puts it within one week of tying the longest run ever atop the chart. That would be "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. Langley's "Choosin' Texas" first led the charts in February. It could possibly become this year's "song of summer." How I Got To The Weather Company

Kyle is a writer, voiceover artist, producer, data scientist, communications strategist and systems thinker working as an engagement editor for The Weather Company. Weird mix of skills? Sure, but it’s precisely this diverse toolkit that allows him to approach storytelling and community engagement from uniquely powerful angles. Growing up the son of small-town newspaper publishers instilled in him a deep-seated belief in the importance of keeping communities informed. Now, he leverages his eclectic skills to craft compelling narratives and build effective communication strategies that resonate.

What I Love About Working for The Weather Company

He loves that he is so lucky to work in a place where he can learn something new every day, and then find creative ways to teach that something new to other people.

Favorite Core Weather Memory

As a born-and-raised midwesterner, thunderstorms and tornadoes have always mystified him. The chaos on the ground and in the atmosphere during these events is astounding. As a contrast to that chaos, he also love the quiet right after a good snowstorm.

Favorite Book

The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy.

Favorite Movie

Everything Everywhere All at Once.
